Heh, no, not a teacher in the school yard sense, but I love history on just about any topic. I read a great deal, too. I learned a lot from simply forsaking the boob-tube and picking up a good novel.

    Thanks for your wonderful review!

I knew you were going to throw some B.O.C. In there. Really, the only way to conquer a fear is to hold them near. Fear spiders- let them crawl on you. Stage fright- get up in front of a crowd and read poetry. Fear death- smoke..... Well, forget that last one ( cough).

Thanks very much, reach, I appreciate that. And I will take care of that wayward apostrophe...

Cool! I caught the "don't fear your fears" groove.. however, in facing mine, they're no longer the playground bullies, terrorizing the lunch money out of my spirit, rather the fear becomes that petulant snot nosed brat in the back, always speaking out, doing something stupid for attention- and getting nothing but pity from those he tries to impress. One result of both my salvation experience, as well as my journey through the hell of addiction, is that I can honestly say I have no fears. They've washed out on the tide of forgiveness...

Wow you have a way of pulling me in and forgetting, that I am afraid but then I am reminded. That first line is amazing and so deep comprehend your fear.

It's rather hard not to fear the reaper if he comes to the door looking like this guy. LOL
Understand your fear and hold its darkness near is really a heavy thought. Most run from what they fear rather than face it because it means facing themselves.

You are absolutely right, BD. Why fear what we have no control over? It's a pointless waste of our time and energy.

    Thanks.

Your graphics and choice of music are very impressive. The words are chilling. A great piece in perfect 5-7-5. Well crafted and quite startling, and of course entertaining.

Holy smokes, or should I say, 'unholy smokes'? Dean, you amaze me with your ability to make a tiny poem like a 5-7-5 into a whole story - most inspiring!

Nice, D-trigga, I was just teaching Zoe the nifty triad solo to that song last night. To think BOC were poets... I am gonna go through my old Queen records to see what I can find.
