Your poem " The Reaper" seems to echo what is going on with the chemical warfare in Syria right now. At the time of the plague enemies of life used blankets contaminated with the illness to spread it further into innocent populations as a tactic of war. We Americans used the same tactics in our encounters with the Indians of America (smallpox). Where is our gift now for the Syrians to help fight Assads plaque of gases. Maybe soon, maybe not.

You're right, Alan, the situation is becoming more and more dire there with each passing day. Also, what the white man did to the Native American Indians who were here long before he was, is a pox and a stain upon the history of this great nation.

I'm not sure you'll convince many not to fear the reaper but you've given it your best shot.
Then just as an added bonus you tell us not to run.Why not?
Because you can't outrun him anyhow. Tell us not to fear and... then take our hope away. Nice going.lol.

I really like your combination of art and words and the overall presentation

Not always. I paint and draw dogs, too. Some landscapes as seen around my home. Sun rises. Things like that.

Really liked the whole effect of this. The short poem packed a punch as most of your pieces do. Liked the picture as the back drop and the music. nicely done. Now I can't wait for the man with the hook.
