This is a cheery little poem that remembers and favors the time of the tooth fairy dreams and the wondrous imagination of a child.

Bright and early, leaping out of bed,
raising the pillow above my head,
my eyes light up, because I see,
5 cent piece all for me.
remember when it was only 5 cent, haha, this one is great, good entry, says so much, and is fun fun fun. good luck in the contest,

It is one of the fun things about loosing your teeth when you are a little child. Most of us have memories of waiting for the tooth fairy to come, and those of us with children know the other side of the coin Well done.

A lovely reflection on this childhood moment when the tooth fairy pays a visit, generating excitement and wonder'very excited to the core'. A moment to savor and remember.

I really like this poetry, it has a good message about the tooth going to the fairy heaven, something lasting for children to think afterwards. it is very well written poem, has a good flow with a good rhyme and rhythm. Well done.

Ah! Every Mum and Dad has been there with their six/seven year old offspring, waiting for the magic, and I guess every child has tried to catch the fairy on that nightly visit. Nice rhyming scheme although I'm not too fond of the place where the phrase is split between lines to force the rhyme "eyes" and "sigh", as that tends to interrupt the flow.
