Well, hell. This was so interesting I have to go back and check up on what is happening.

Mysterious.

Nicely presented. Short,to the point. Expressive. Wish I knew some backstory.

Sophia Pale has been widowed (her husband was murdered while she was raped; a few months later having a baby), kidnapped (a year later by the same men who'd killed her husband and raped her), raped again (while witnessing another murder) arrested for murder ( having been framed by the real perpetrators (in what is appearing to be an organized effort) imprisoned (losing her daughter and giving birth to another in prison, which was taken away) witness to murder and raped again in prison (by the same people), and has met two women (one, Diana, who was a friend, but was at the latest murder and rape as a killer, and another, Linda, a strange new person who speaks to her without talking. Now, she's been found dead in her cell, Diana has been pardoned, and Linda is in a coma.

A very good chapter. I haven't seen the other chapters. I will look for them in your portfolio. This looks like a story I would be interested in.

Sophia Pale has been widowed, raped, kidnapped, raped, arrested for murder, imprisoned, meets a woman whom she witnesses murdering someone, raped in prison, and meets another woman who seems to speak to her without talking.

The large font is really easy on the eyes--I said that last time. LOL! Weird that one is dead and the other sick. I wonder where you are going with this. I like your ideas so far. :)
Keep on writing :)

I'll have to go back and read the beginning, this is quite enthralling. Something awful has happened in that cell, and it looks like McCoy is the murderer, but I think perhaps she's not. I must go and read the other chapters now. Well written chapter. :) Sandra

oh, wow. I didn't see that coming. But, wait - is this the end? Could it be a case of switched identities? The artwork added to the piece, and your setting of the scene was chilling. Thank you for sharing, but I hope this isn't the last part of this story.

The male guard looked to the female guard and raised his eyebrows to put the question.
"Yeah," she said, "I know their names. This one is McCoy and this one is Pale."
"Main, this is 51, break," he went on. "The names are McCoy and Pale. Pale is the one who's dead."
Your humour never fails to make me laugh, so funny and well written, I always delight in reading your fantastic work well done kindest regards, Meia x

Wait, what? How the heck and when the heck did this happen? Did I miss something? You are going to elaborate right? I have been reading all along or at least I thought I had. I do not recall an attack on Pale that could have caused her death. I hope I didn't fall asleep while reading.

This is well-paced and has a sense of urgency to it. You do this very well with few words, which in itself if pure gold.
I enjoyed this and you left it on a cliff-hanger that makes me want to come back for more. Well done.

The Discovery of 2 bodies, one of which appears dead, always makes for a dramatic scene.
Being that the dead woman is Pale will make for an interesting read to the next chapter.
Great stuff!
