This is a very unusual, but very dramatic chapter. In reading it I can easily see where it would keep a reader at the edge of their seat.

A compelling read, and yes violence and sex, and and a vivid imagination. Very well written, I normally do not like this kind of material, but it did hold my interest to the end. I suppose I can take consolation that this weirdo is suffering for the heinous deed he inflicted on others.

The opening quote created good atmosphere and your opening paragraph had great weight with impacting words.
The horror of Eddie's spiralling thoughts are imparted with the exact twisted logic you would expect from a perpetrator.
I loved the man-sized spider description. I think it is wonderful descriptive text like this that is one of your unique selling points. The imagination of the whole spider horror scene is just mesmerising. You have a remarkable ability to bring a fascinating story to life.
Ok, I confess, you have got me! I am going to go back and read any missing chapters later purely for my own enjoyment.
Simply superb and this is such a fine example of intriguing and imaginative story telling.

Spellbinding. I thought I was in the middle of a Stephen King novel, the description was that good. The large spider splitting into thousands of little ones was a super image. Well done my friend.
