Ys, the everyday life of a lot of couples who pass through abuse. What a pity when the brain turns red, it sees nothing, it hears nothing, its lost, and just attacks. I hope a for a good ending. Terry.

Oh no...This one creates that feeling of dread, doom, and hands/heads that turn the other way, hoping someone else will step up to help. This is a difficult subject and your piece shows how abuse might escalate.

Oh no .....I hate this ...death so senseless so evil......your image of broken glass is profound...a fragile life frail , fragile ...should have been protected but instead was smashed.........you wrote powerful imagery

The writer delivers a message that is filled with emotion. The rhyming is good. This piece has a nice flow as the writer sticks with the aabb rhyme scheme. The photo is perfect for this piece as I thank you for sharing this.

I can certainly relate to this hopeless scenario.
I have known couples engaged in that sad behavior.
This story is poetically presented in solidly rhymed
