Dear Janilou,
LOL. Oh the bodyguard knows the truth and loves Ed. A floosy he choice to wed, but you took care of that. You write in an entertaining active style. Well done.
Warm regards,
Winslow

I know that you might not believe me, but my wife was an hour late for our wedding. I was worried that she had come to her senses, and ran for her life. Great story.

I had to read it through twice after I finished it and picked up the clues that the speaker is a dog. Bodyguard wa one tip-off. Then Ed squats done... Very clever use of puns thoughout. A great entry because it is so unique.

A very interesting story my friend. Even though having this happen isn't funny at all. I found a good laugh in the way you write it. Thank you

This is an interesting story. I usually like to see more dialogue, but that doesn't detract from the story in general. This is good and I wish you the best in your contest.

I could not stop laughing once I read the ending. What a twist to the tale :). The characters of Ed, Angel & Cindy have come out very nicely. Your novel is a complete package - humor, mystery, revenge, suspense, romance, suspicion, loyalty.

What else would a perfect bodyguard do? Man's best friend - and he knows it. You did an excellent job with this, Janilou. Good luck. :) nancy

oh I just LOVED the wry running-commentary style of this one, though I was starting to become puzzled by WHO was speaking and what his/her role was, so was relieved when you enlightened us. What a fun entry!

Absolutely hilarious. I loved the voice. It was knowing, tough and funny. Ed's bodyguard was absolutely the most loyal bodyguard a man could have and smart too. The twist ending was terrific. I just loved that! 'She looked so delectable all dressed in white--just like a bone." Cindi is one serious piece of work. I also loved it when she denies having anything to do with the death of Ed's second wife. me thinks the doggie doth protest too much! This story was so consistently funny and original, I actually laughed out loud when I reached the end. Excellent job.
