This is a very good spiritual poem, and the background song leads the erader to feel more your words. You describe the story of Jesus so well, guiding the reader into being introspective, to feel the sacrifice, His pain. You also lead the erader to think about his actions. Indeed, your friend is right, I think God every day for this gift, using it to speak about God and His son is a beautiful thing to do.

I love the way all the words flowed together.

Thank you so much for your kind words, John. It is a style that I created here, on FS. I call it '3-D Virtual'. I designed it to pull the reader into the poem or story, and for the most part, it seems to be doing what it was intended to do. I have several poems as well as short stories where I utilize this format.
