I like bats in a zoo but I will never hurt animal, even spiders I Pick them up with a new paper and put them outside, the only animal I wouldn't touch is a snake.
I love your poem and the choice of picture was excellent.
Have a nice weekend.

Well I'm really glad it was released unharmed. Bats don't scare me, although I wouldn't really like one in my house! Another pleasant read about an event in your life. I love how you're inspired by daily life!

What an amazing picture! I have never seen a bat inside a building. I'm glad you gave it a second chance to survive. I liked your capturing this true story in a prose poem. Hugs- Joan

Oh I had a bat in my house one day and it was real scary. I'm glad you got rid of it and that you are in no danger. God loves you and so do I.

ewwww! (shudder)I am surely not a fan of bats, although I do snicker while hubby tries to corral them through an open door (I am hidden, of course). Luckily someone was able to remove the pest without incident.
thanks for sharing,
k

I am petrified of bats. I knew someone who died from a bite. We have lots of them in the north.
Your verse is scary. Good picture. LOL
Cheers

A bat is an environmental friendly creature that eats mainly fruits. It is also a good omen to the Chinese I think. It is a miracle how the bat came into the house, smiles. But being harmless there's no cause for alarm.
Good write in the story of a bat that came into the house.
Cheerio, hugs, bro Ritchie.

'A Bat In Our Flat.' You were very lucky to have it removed, although they are rather harmless, Ine. They look for places to breed, and I guess that's why it was in your flat.
