Good morning, Treischel,
"Summer Camp" is an excellent entertaining poem with an unusual form. The rhyme following a consistent pattern gives it good rhythm and flow. I am glad the parents are happy. I am sure the kids are. I enjoyed this read.

Thanks Gungalo. Yup, I thing it stands for 3 syllable quatrains (three - qua). Blame it on Ritchie :-))

Once again, you have been the first to introduce me to an intriguing new form of poetry! I really like this form, and the poem reads beautifully. It is a very timely subject as well!

Thank you Gypsy. My grandSon just got back from a week of camp. That was my muse.

Oh, the mischief and trouble that I used to get into at camp! I should write something about it.... but will I overcome my self criticism of my writing and post it?
Hopefully I will be able to afford a SPAG class soon so I'm not so self-conscious about posting.
In the meantime, you have provided me much inspiration to exercise my pen and practice! Thanks again!

I love this style, Mr. T! It's really got a nice, upbeat kind of, 'pop-pop-pop' rhythm to it.
Your choice of rhymes was spot-on for a poem about this subject matter. Keeps that jazzy rhythm bouncin' right along!
Great stuff!

Yet another poem I must attempt, Tom!
A well-written poem emphasizing the summer event many children (and parents) look forward to;
Spot-on rhyme makes for a fun read.
Excellent!

Now this one is a real treat! It's so fun and playful it instantly, and without warning, lifts the spirit. It truly offers a tiny and unexpected glimpse of carefree childhood. Well done and well written, I loved it!!
