It's a nice piece of Children Poetry beautifully depicting Lily's story.
Its wording is simple, perfectly matching the theme, having spontaneous pleasant flow with nice rhyming scheme, lively imagery and pictorial quality.
The most striking lines are:
All day long she'll swing and sway
Never a dull moment to be had,
"Cause Lily has a way in life
Of making everyone happy when sad.

What a wonderful poem this is. Many special children are exactly that.. special in their sweet, kindly ways. Maybe not as athletic or academically talented as others, but they have a way of reaching hearts and creating smiles. I've known a few in my day, and everyone was a winner. :)

This is a lovely story in a poem, Gramalot8. There are lots of īspecialīchildren around who bear their pain without feeling the slightest bit sorry for themselves. They are the worlds little unsung heroes even though they donīt think of themselves as such. Good luck in the contest! xsx Sandra

Overall, I think this is an adorable piece. It's something you can share with children. My one complaint is that the rhythm is off. If you read the first stanza aloud, you'll notice the cadence is disjointed. Other than that, I enjoyed it.
