Yes, sometimes for days. It will come, keep that pencil and paper ready. Once, I wrote a poem on a pizza box, stuck in traffic. :-) Carolyn

I wrote a poem on suicide and we need to watch for warning sigs and have a listening ear, show love and suicide will vanish into thin air. please to take your life.

Okay now you have me worried. Am I reading thoughts of a past life you left behind, or are you having these feelings right now as you write. I hope you are okay and not contemplating anything stupid. Poetry usually comes from the feelings we have within of some experience in our life. Please tell me you are okay. I like your poetry ...as it reminds me of my once self. Good job poet.
