What an absolutely delightful story-poem. Reading "Jerry Jing-Jang" was just too much of a temptation, so I sat here in my office, by myself and read it out loud, grinning the whole time. Your rhyming is impeccable and the poem reads really well. Nice job!

Thanks for the six! I'm so glad you enjoyed JJJ. He's one of my favorite characters to write. There are more of his adventures in my portfolio, if you're interested. I'm afraid I can't set them to music, since I have absolutely no musical talent. Have a great weekend.

Did you come up with JJJ? I'm a retired organist and wrote some of my songs. So when ever I read a little jingle as yours I want to hear the melody. I'll check back later in your portfolio. Gotta get some grub.

JJJ is my dad. He told stories of his cowboy days when we were kids. Fictional, of course, but when I was six I totally believed him. He never wrote anything down. Now that he's 80 he gets a big kick out of my poems and stories.

This is a nice story that flowed really well in verse and rhyme. And it was humorous. It held my attention, and there were no yawning bumps. This is the kind of work that makes a reader happy to have read it.

Nicely done. Imaginative little story in poem form! Some of the rhymes seemed a little bit forced but it still worked and came together well!

I just love this! To be able to tell a story with your poetry without sounding too forced is awesome! The rhyme and rhythm work well without taking away from the story. I will keep this 'on my bookshelf' for a long time.
