This is a beautifully descriptive poem that captures a serene scene and reaction to it. Nice job. Since it is not a 5-7-5 format I suspect you did not intend to enter it in the contest. Welcome to fanstory. I look forward to reading more of your work.

The reason for the four stars is that you entered into a 5/7/5 contest of a nontraditional Haiku, but you didn't meet or wrote this poem to the guidelines of the contest.
