Very well-written. I was just reading all the entries for the rose contest. I voted for yours for one reason: it communicated more emotion in three lines that the others did in many more line. A beautiful 5-7-5.

I really love short poetry forms, and this is a wonderful 5-7-5... you paint a very vivid image in only 17 syllables! Great job and good luck in the contest. :)

Beautifully done 5/7/5 on a red rose! The comparison between the weeping petals and the softly falling tears makes it so poignant. Good luck with the prompt!

this is sad and inspirational at the same time. I could see the red petals falling as a loved one is walking away from a casket just lowered in the ground. Great job!
