What a tale of intrigue and unreturned love. Eva seems like a good girl, clever too, but Nathan will never get over Margaret. And if he does by some miracle marry Eva, it will only end in heartache as he and Margaret will rekindle the forbidden flames.

this is very well written, amahra, you did an excellent job writing this chapter where nathan moves on with his life but still keeps the memories of margaret alive in his heart and he won't be truly happy without her.

"Eva, you sleep naked and never put a stitch on until after breakfast. And you don't think I'll know you're there?"
Finally, someone else willing to use a semi-nude character in their story.

Nathan's heart got broken by Margaret who just left. Then he dives into his work and is allowed to do more and more, improving so much and Koren getting worse with arthritis. He is now the most wanted bachelor. Even when he is with the woman that loves him, she is still on his mind.

He seems to be quite the catch! But then, he is a handsome doctor. Everyone in town seems to know the truth about his true feelings. You have created a good addition to an already fascinating story. Your characters continue to grow and introduce more of themselves as time goes by.

Oh I can see trouble on the horizon for both Nate and Margaret. Exa seems to have a few screws loose and will do anything to have nate in her life for ever. Good chapter that flowed nicely and the time jumps were appropriate for the interest of the story. Bravo!

Nathan is not a luck guy. He only meets manipulative women. This one loves him, but is beating a dead horse. Poor girl should look for someone else, but some people don't know when to stop. Great story. I had no trouble following it.
