What a delightful painting of a ball. Wherever did you discover it, and who painted it? Amahra, your descriptions are so beautiful, and the way you play with dialogue and make us share in their witty remarks. I found the part with the poor old man and plump wife really funny.

What a beautiful scene when he kissed her... just perfect! She was trying to act like a lady, but clearly she wanted to kiss him too. What a lovely chapter this was! Sounds like thing are going toooo well... something is going to happen to mess it up, right? :)
