Another excellent advancement of the story, but the reader is left with little more than guesses to work our a solution.

With a little luck, we'll run into someone who knows more than they think they do." (super phrase)

Our ominiscent killer is not going to like the idea of the Feds AT ALL! Contrary to the usual, this serial killer is focused on getting the attention of one man alone.

Thanks, N, for your continued support and encouragement. I really appreciate it.

A federal agent gets now also assigned to the job. Jana says he is good, but not perfect as nobody is. They are going to alter their story a bit when talking, not in the official report.

I think this was a great read. Very well written and spaced correctly. The on,y thing is that people tell me to space a line between quotes. Is this true for all books or just opinion? There was just one part that didn't. Third prgh. Great read!

Hi, Gregory. Thank you much for stopping by to read my chapter. I've gotten conflicting advice on the quotations. I use a professional grammar checker now (Grammarly) and tend to go by whatever it recommends.

Thanks again for your generosity and encouragement.

    Warm regards, Bev

Hmm, well I'd love your take on it. I write humorous essays (memoirs) about my mother like "The Polaroid Bubble" up here (Im compiling into a book) and I think it looks better spaced out after people told me but I don't know which is correct. I had a professional editor go through it and she did Not space them. Hmmm.

There's so much conflicting information out there on certain topics. And I am far from being any kind of expert LOL. I've been fortunate to have gotten mostly good advice from my fans. :0) Bev

Very well written with the writer's usage of descriptive wording bringing the reader along with the story-line.

Your characters in the story are very interesting and leaves the reader wondering where the story-line will go from here.

Nice writing. :)

End of Part One. Do we go somewhere else now? I'm wondering what Part Two is if not a continuation of this.
Maybe this Dred fellow takes the story in a new direction. I like his name. I see Stallone's character Judge Dred. Did you see that futuristic movie?
With Jana's reaction, Dred's going to be an interesting force.

Another fine chapter, Bev. Your sixes are in jail again. LOL

Good luck in the BOM.

Hiya, Ellen. I did not see that Stallone movie. Here I thought I was being original LOL. Dred's appearance will be a catalyst but he's not the only one. hehehehe

Love it - my sixes are in jail. Thanks for the thought of giving this write one. I really appreciate it, Ellen.

Bev, I'm reading this in the dark with a cat on my lap. The dark lends to the spooky atmosphere!

I can't believe you're leaving us hanging like this. I want part 2 NOW!
I really liked your descriptions of Rick and Jana in the car. You're good with descriptor writing.
Well, I'll have to be patient till next time.
Hmm, did I see a veiled reference to Donald Harvey? He was a nurse who snuffed out a lot of patients that way, creepy thing!

It appears there is a witness who saw someone standing over a victim. However, the description is nearly unbelievable. So much so they are afraid to tell anyone for fear it would do nothing to help the case, since there is much prejudice toward those who live on the reservation. Now the Feds have arrived. They really feel the pressure is on them now.

I wonder if the Feds will be able to solve this case. I'm anxious to read more, Bev.

Hugs,
April

Great as always. I found no errors, just good writing and more curiosity over who is doing this! I can't stand it. But I will try to be patient and wait. =} Rox
