It is walking alone
the fields of dawn
holding solitary dreams - feels like a lonely trek across the sandy surfaces of a cold, blue ocean.
It is two souls united
disregarding the distance - perhaps fusing as one to contain the others essence.

This is a most expressive poem which flows well is concise and has that rhythm which captures the tension along with the imagery of the piece. A visual piece with an artistic expressed narration that is very creative in word play and balance along with the most emotional appeal. This is a well written piece.

A poem for me does 1 of 2 things, occasionally both. It either paints a picture or expresses an emotion. You've done both, brilliantly! I can feel the longing. I can feel the loneliness and desire.
The rhythm of the poem flows so naturally. I think in free verse a lot of poets sometime lose the rhythm, I find myself doing it quite frequently. But, your rhythm was perfect.
And "bodies that burn alone in delirious desires"
favorite line. Visually powerful.
I wanted to read again and again... And I did :)

What is reality, is it touchable or does it reside in our minds. I guess to some it's what we perceive to be real at any given moment. It's not a bad thing to feel for someone else, no matter how far the distance between them. I enjoyed the read, well done!

When two lovers are separated by distance, they long for one anothers' touch
and hold on to the other, through things they once enjoyed together. A letter
can mean so much to them. Phone calls bring them a little closer together.
Your poem flowed nicely and the message was clearly presented.

It is very beautiful ;-) I love the peaceful and beautiful imagery in your poem. The repetition is perfect and it is as if I'm in another place where there is no ugliness anywhere. An excellent poem that leaves me feeling happy ;-)
