Those are very effective lines, Pili...They sound forceful!

And then you surrender! Way to go, but make him surrender his all first!

Very imaginative use of words and skillfully constructed. You use good imagery and maintain a poetic flow throughout the whole piece. A well written engrossing poem filled with uncertainty of love, dealing with questions of the future in a whirl wind of emotions leading to an acceptance of self within the sheltering calm of love. You have managed to wrap your words in hope and trust without compromising your integrity or blemishing your soul. I sense contentment when I read this ...it has a life energy that moves me emotionally.

One of the truest and honest poems of love and how it can affect the soul of one afraid to go forth and embrace it, but doubly afraid of not taking that chance for everlasting togetherness. Very good.
