This is stunning. I wish I had the six it deserves. Fully bursting with metaphors and wonderful imagery. Such a creative and exciting set of verse. There is no long dragged out length by any means, no apologies for length needed. The flow is so smooth, the images and emotions you arouse, the qualities you exhibit make it an absorbing and fast flowing read. Such exuberance for the life being that you are, you are so much more than the depressions that mar a day.

I love this celebration of life poem. Your presentation is as stunning as your poem.
That peach rose is gorgeous.

You have filled your verse with excellent and abundant alliteration, assonance and consonance, they are too numerous to pick them out.

Too difficult to select a favorite verse, they are all so good. I do love "tangy, ice cold lemonade", "tequila, salt and lemon", "the first daffodil of spring", "variable winds of time", "the willow in me". I could go one, there are just so many delightful elements to this poem Debbie. It should be in a contest. Love it. Well done. Keep this up ... it's great. Hugs - Lovi xoxox

As I read this, I wonder who the 'You' is that brings out all these thing. Some of the things are good, fun, happy, others like depression, fear and pain are not.

I see this as a summary of self. I love the images. Nurturing mother beagle, playful bunnies hopping, flowing lava, rooted willow-flexible but strong.
