You see, everything has a bright side. I hate lines. I actually had a motorcycle accident that makes me feel pain to this day if I stand more than twenty minutes straight, but it's harder for me to prove I have a problem. Thanks for sharing.

So true. There is a positive for almost every negative. I sometimes feel guilty when I get to sit, while those obviously not capable of long periods of standing have to suffer. Thank you~Debbie

Yeah. Thanks for sharing again. We learned different things.

You're getting more clever with each piece. Now how in the world do you make the wheelchair keep moving. All this new technology. Remember God loves you and I do too.

Very cute. I guess it's true. I never thought of it that way. I like your way of thinking and this poem was cute and fun to read.

True. And I'd make a bet that the woman in the wheelchair wished she had this:

Hi Debbie
You have used great wit to emphasise your point. The spinning wheelchair is a touch of brilliance ... I guess it makes the reader feel as though it is OK to smile. Great irony and satire here. It must be quite difficult for you in so many situations. I saw on a TV program not long ago ... The Inventors ... do you have it there?? Maybe it is only an Australian show.
A man in a wheelchair has to collect his daughter from school each day. When he arrives if there is no one to open the child-proof gate, he cannot reach the lock to open it. He had invented a special device that was easily fitted (and inexpensive) to all of these gates that could be open by a person in a wheel-chair but not by children.
I know I feel frustrated at not being able to reach things, and I am average height, five foot five inches. You show what must be frustrating in a gently humorous way and are teaching those of us who may not have realised what you have to face.
Great work. Hugs - Lovi xoxo

Thanks so much Lovi. I posted a positive senryu yesterday. There are advantages to having a wheelchair. It is a struggle and I live in a very old small town where places are not handicapped accessible, so do find frustration in wanting to be independent, but needing help too~Debbie

never has to stand in line
Terrific! There's a silver lining in your cloud. My feet get sooo tired now, five minutes and I'm ready to pass out!
Good choice of topic and well said! :)

Another clever senryu.
She never has to stand in line, but oh the view down there is horrible. LOL
I enjoy your spinning chair every time I see it.
