Oh when this started I thought it was going to be a love unreturned but it was so much better. This was light and quiet as it snuck into my life. The thoughts were real and not forced. A great job

Your took us all on this beautiful ride into the countryside, with you driving on the poet's pen and setting the mood, as the thoughts were as lovely as the talk and the view. The colorful imager coming through, because of you. The verse was free and full of energy. The company was purely lovely! Really well done! So glad to see you back.

    Good morning my friend Fez,

How kind of to ask where I have been. Going through some pretty scary health stuff for the last few months. It has zapped my energy and my time.
Spring is finally here. I intend to celebrate its arrival a bit more quietly, but still welcome it.
No more convertibles for this girl...

I absolutely adore your " reports" from the Fillipines!

Thank you for loving " trading wishes".
    I had fun writing it

    Have a wonderful vacation

I really like how you use your words to describe things. Sun-drenched yellow tulips...a long drive to nowhere...scribble the words of friendship... a wish whispered into the wind. This is very lovely and sounds like something I would do. thanks for sharing. I love it. Miss Sally

it's so good to come to the place when you recognize that everything you have is enough, and exactly what you need. That's what your poem says to me. Thanks for sharing

Hi Jill - just back on FanStory after a couple of years absence, so just getting back into submitting. With the exception of a new novel, most of my posts are from a couple of years ago. I did submit an entry for the Epitaph contest, but alas, got nary a vote! Keep writing - wish it was spring here! - Colorado got blasted with 20" of snow, and we're right below it, waiting...

Well I don't know about porch swings anyways. Last time I sat on one it broke (I wasn't chunky yet) but the chain apparently was rusty. So nope I don't like porch swings. I loved your poetry it flows very nicely!

Jill,

Your poem is filled with such lovely thoughts and symbolism. The imagery makes it easy for the mind's eye to see that the protagonist is thinking of someone very special to spend quality time with. Your color scheme and graphics add much allure to the piece.

It is a lovely read.

Curtis
