Yes your 5-7-5 syllable count is so perfect. You did a good job by expression in a few lines the issue of love. I think I loved the first line, it really revealed so much in just a single line. I am not so sure about your use of odors in the second line, because for me it talks about a smell, but I think the second line was talking about something which we can see. Anyway its just a matter of perspective. Keep up the good work.
