What's unique about your style is you have the characters showing the action as opposed to telling. I understand it may prove difficult (to me) to convey the chapter's and the characters' POV using primarily sentences, with few small paragraphs. You do it so effortlessly. Kudos!

Excellent use of dialogue that keeps the story fresh and flowing well. Love the character actions and the use of the pointer toothpick to puctuate the action. Wonder what Cash and Billy Joe will find when they analyze that handprint off the jag. Nicely told!

Once again with good use of dialog you keep the story moving along at a good pace.
Cannot wait now to see what the PI manages to find out about the handprint.

You've got an interesting story line here. I enjoy the detective work Cash and Billy Joe are doing. The descriptions are great and that handprint on the Jaguar adds a nice touch.
"Maybe she knows, but she doesn't know she knows." - what a great line.
I love that name Cash. Seems he has a lot of cash to dole out. I'll bet you picked that name for him on purpose.

Hi Barbara,
This story gets more intriguing with each new chapter. It is a real page turner and I am never bored as I read your well place words. I can't imagine who owns the hand that left prints on the car. You surely know how to keep one suspense! Well done...blessings, chey

The presence of a mystery intruder is now certain. So far nothing has been harmed, but along with the threat of the note and a hand print on Paige's Jaguar, the situation is getting ominous.
Two thoughts come to me:
1. Has the car been tampered with?
2. Can Cash and Billy Joe keep Paige safe and still keep her from going back to her sheltered New England life?
I hope the hand print on the car points to the villain(s) before anyone gets hurt.

This is a good chapter carefully written and presented. The dialogue is well worded and flows naturally in everyday conversational language. I didn't really find a punch in this chapter. I'll wait for the next. kudos
