Took a risk, paid the price. Risked all and paid the price.
Can freeze up a whole bay. Can freeze up Thunder Bay.
Maiden took bad advice, And served with bad advice,
Just a few suggestions to make the lines flow better. Regretfully this poem is not up to your usual high standards. However, I offered constructive criticism and not hearty verbiage that would stroke a poet's ego. I would expect no less the same from you.

Thanks Steve. I take your point, you're trying to get it iambic, which I didn't claim it to be. I like the Thunder Bay idea, and used it.

rhymes are used skillfully and it is easy to read.
