Beautiful- I loved the part where you mention that if one does not fully love then they won't be able to properly cry and if one doesn't shed tears, their love isn't true... So very clever and honest...:-)

Excellent poem about love! And I like Edith Piaf, too. She had an extremely difficult life, and yet was able to make beautiful music despite her personal problems.

Excellent comments about love in the first stanza. Your thought about love making people cry is so true, and you carry that out in your other stanzas. The tears show the depth of feeling. If the love isn't so strong and the feelings for the loved one aren't really deep, there will be no tears. Tears show the depth of caring. A powerful thought well expressed. judi
