Oh, Gungalo, nobody can disturb me when I'm playing with Miss Lexi. Other than Christ, she is the best part of my life. Love, jan

This is a very cute poem. Easy to picture, through your creative words, the Nanny and child playing with these dolls there on the floor. I enjoyed this- Good Job! Betty

Hello Rdfrdmom2
What cute poem love it and the fact that Lexi has so much fun with her nanny ( which I believe is you)
Love this part--
playing Barbies on the floor
with the child that I adore
"little people" all around
but they barely make a sound
Huge smiles

So lively and playful is your writing, but then children are that way. Imagination is what we had back then, no video games to steal that. Flows, rhymes beautifully. Well done. Thanks for sharing. Le

early morning rendezvous
as your nanny plays with you
This poetry transports the reader to playful and
fun place. The rhymes are perfect and it uses
non-confusing language making it easy to read and
understand. Thank You for your creation.

The love for children is coming out of the page, sort of speak, in this poem dedicated to them and their little toys. It seems a sign of consumerism, how children have so many toys these days. Yet, they instill in little ones the sentiments and willingness to share, they stimulate imagination, and most of all, they can make for time well spent indeed, with the grown ups in their lives.

Lexi is so lucky to have such a loving grandma to play with her. So many children aren't as lucky. I loved reading your poem. Thank you for sharing.
