if this is a reoccurring dream, it is truly a frightening one - I visualize someone dying of AIDS, with a lover sitting by his side until he can no longer witness the agony. A sad, brutal write.

    Good morning sharyn,

    It's not a dream.
    Its not crafted fiction.
    It's really happening slowly

A good day is when I can write through the pain. I wrote this for someone who matters so much to me. He often says that I was made for him. Like rascall flats lyrics in " the broken road", I guess we need to travel so many wrong paths, hit the detours and come out on the other side so we can appreciate and embrace that beautiful, noble, wise and special person who has travelled that same broken road.
I will keep on writing poems because I truly believe that not to would be the certain of my spirit. I know that you understand. My admiration for you knows no bounds...
I don't plan to write any more sad poems. I have a couple of erotic ones swimming around my brain. ( lol )

Thank you for the gift of our friendship.

    Until next time,
    Jill

'When The End Draws Near.'This work was very well formulated allowing formal structure and a good rounding of the body to encompass a strong extension to the narrative. Well done.

Sounds more like a nightmare than a dream. The loss of a loved one can be a dramatic change in our lives. The routines, the sharing, the romantic times now become sad memories that are replayed through our emotions. Sometimes we just want to curl up and live in the past...

There is the whole of a poem in those eyes
a poem I will never write

This is poetry is PHENOMENAL!! It conveys strength,
weakness, joy, sorrow, welcome, farewell, darkness,
light, and more.
It held my interest from start to finish (other
poetry does not). Thank Your for your creation.

I actually had a hard time realizing that you were writing about a poem of mine.

Thank you for embracing this poem so completely!

You had me at " PHENOMENAL"

    Until next time,

Wow! What a tormented and feverish dream that must be. So vivid in its imagery of tortured desire amid devastating disease. Written in an open free verse format that carries a jagged message of anticipated rejection in a brutally realistic depiction that is gripping and compelling. Incredible!

You called this poem " incredible" and render me speechless my friend!

Your insight is remarkably on target, very close to what I was feeling after making this poem.
I so wish that I could tell you that this is only expressive crafted-fiction free verse.
    It is not fiction
It seemed less difficult to preface this piece with a dream reference as I had no wish to alert everyone who might read this piece.
I love how you have embraced this poem and it's author with your sage wisdom and a warm blanket of friendship.
Thank you seems so little but it is all I have.

It is a rare pleasure to encounter anyone as mighty w/the pen and so prolific. I learn much from your poems as I read them aloud.
    Keep writing my friend.
You do it so incredibly well...

    Don't make me cry, girl.

I can't just leave it at that, it is devastating,it sounds like the angel of death is hovering. That makes me sad. I was there once, I was diagnosed with aggressive testicular mesothelioma, but a miracle happened and I was healed. When I thought I had only 3 months let's, according to the doctors, I was touched by a holy man and cured. That was in 1993. But before that, in those 3 months that I was preparing to die, I resolved that I would do the best dying I could and embrace it as another experience. I Pray the best for you. Hang in there. You have lived and live and are making a difference in ways you don't even know. And write about it here. Express what happening.
