Good for Paige for sticking up for Nala. Though, I'm still wondering the reason for Nala's discomfort all of a sudden. And what in the heck is this Dr. Walker's attitude about? Grrrrr, I don't like him.

How rude! I would have been angry if someone asked me to treat a friend that way. Paige's stubborn, but admirable, response is great. I was not aware that southerners had a social status. Of course, I've never been to the south.

Good

The story flowed nicely and is interesting. The dialogue was good, crisp, not wordy. I did want some description of action. Physical description of the characters and the setting in the midst of action is also desirable. It holds the reader's interest. Simply reading dialogue gets boring.

Nice to check in on you again Barbara! I think I was in on this story right at the beginning. Looks like it's progressing nicely and your "dialogue telling the story style" is moving things along at a nice pace - dialogue, characters, settting all totally believable.

trying to help himself to Paige's cob(cobb) salad. (unless it's different in the south?)
