Hi Steve

Great wit and wry humor. Fantastic alliteration in the first line of each. I love the concept - everyone loves limericks. Love the lacies in Macys, Bradley's shortcomings, and Ben's tripple b's. Great rhyme in each and in the true vein of a good, bad, bawdy and naughty lim. :) Nice to know there is further entertainment on the way. Great alliteration in "sausage/sawn/shortcomings". Still laughing.
Hugs - Lovinia xoxo

hilarious and original. " shortcomings affect him quite badly" - very sly sense of humor/dry wit. always make 'em think, don't apply an easy punch line and you'll always get a laugh.

love the idea for your series - I look forward to more installments
when read aloud, your limericks have the inflection they should have, something few on this site accomplish with this form
love the opening alliteration
I'm so laughing at the visual of the acrobat cartwheeling through Macy's in her lingerie LOL
strong rhymes in each limerick
and good bawdy humor in each
Brooke :-)

Thanks for the laughs. I couldn't determine which of these limericks I liked best because they are all so funny. I look forward to reading all the ones you come up with in the new series. Quite the talent here, great job!

Love Limericks and these are very good.
Lots of clever rhyming and of course always
love your wicked sense of humor which
is just so perfectly suited to this form. Hahaha!!!

Your limericks, very urbane,
Could cause the "real poets" great pain,
But I like them fine, and would
Tend to malign
Those who would call them inane.

Anybody who can find something to rhyme with "chiropractor" is ok with me. Nice job with these.

I love these limericks.

In my opinion, C is the cleverest and wittiest because of the word play on Ben.

B is traditional bawdy - but even funnier because of the layers of bawdiness.

A presents the most vivid image of the three and you found the perfect illustration.

Keep going, Steve.
