Well done, but sick, as you say! Sorry, I could not stomach the content here. I guess that's why I never listened to Alice. You probably did well on the names of songs, but since I do not know them I cannot say. Pick another subject and you will do well.

Thanks for taking the time to read and comment, NDY. Sorry it disgusted you. I tried to warn readers with those 'warning meters', but a lot of people just ignore them. I'd suggest paying closer attention to them in the future if you can't 'stomach' certain content. This is Alice Cooper after all, who always went for dark, twisted lyrics, and I think my story was true to his body of work. So, I'm thrilled with your reaction. It makes me quite happy with it just the way it is. Mainly because, with your reaction and my own stomach turning as I wrote it, I'm almost certain that Alice Cooper fans as well as fans of gratuitous violence on innocent victims and disturbing stories such as this one would truly appreciate this one. Thanks for the awesome feedback. My job as a writer is done. :)

I love the picture. I will blame Alice too. He is one sick person. You tied the picture and the poem real good. The boy in your story was a bad person. Great work.

Thanks for the unbiased rating, Ellie, I'm glad you took this for what it was, an artist's rendering... sort of an ode to Alice's lyrics. If this story didn't make one's stomach turn or at least make one feel a bit uncomfortable with its content, it just wouldn't have been true to Alice Cooper's body of work. I mean, here's an artist who wrote things like 'I want to hurt you just to hear you screaming my name...'... That's the kind of story I needed to write, even if, in reality, I don't do 'sick things' but, instead, cherish and protect innocent things. Some people aren't sophisticated enough to get that.

It is a sick little story; he should have gone for a side dish. I did not notice any grammar errors and the story kept my attention throughout. T2

Thanks for taking the time to read and comment, T2. I'm glad you could appreciate this for what it was. Some people on this site think every story is based in fact somehow, like I'm some kind of serial killer writing a confession. But, I guess if they've never listened and appreciated Alice Cooper, with his ironic sense of sick humor, then I guess they can't appreciate what I did here.

Thank you so much for the six star rating, and sharing your comment about this with me. I'm being villified by some readers as if I'd actually committed this crime. (I'm pretty certain they're not Alice Cooper fans. lol) I'm so glad you get it, could appreciate all the song titles I used in here, and don't think I actually go around killing people.

I already noticed some people think this is a public diary or something :) it was really great in my opinion.

I'm not bothered by the violence as you have described it, but the story seems to lack depth. He puts up with her for three years, even though she makes it clear she isn't going to have sex, then finally not only rapes her but destroys her physically - it doesn't ring true to me. Maybe if you had made more of her treating him badly, messing with his head, and his obsession with her, it might have been more plausible.

I must admit, I'm not an Alice fan, so maybe I'm missing some of the references.

    Hi Annie,

I was going more for an 'Alice Cooper' feel than an actual story here. So, it's not surprising you felt the story lacked depth or motivation. I agree, story-wise, with your assessment, but adding plot, I think, would have taken away from the random act of violence against an innocent victim feel of this. Plus, it would have watered down all the song titles I used, inserting lines and lines of dialogue, flashbacks, or interactions between the characters that would have provided motive... a motive I didn't really want in there. And, since there's really no justification for what this dirtbag did, isn't it all a bit senseless to get the reader to sympathise with him? Anyway, thanks so much for your review... and I do agree with your rating, if you look at it from the point of view you've expressed. I'm happy with the result, despite how the story sickens me... or maybe because of how it sickens me. lol

Well, damn. This was certainly an opening to the latest James Patterson or Thomas Harris thriller about a serial killer. Definitely a chapter one, if I ever saw one. Damn. You leave the readers hanging on the actions of a madman who has yet to get caught. LOL

Damn. Very gripping read.

Thanks so much for reading and the great rating, Ed. I'm glad you could appreciate the art form. Blame Alice for this sick little piece. His song titles crafted quite a stomach turning scene.
