We don't have four legs and a tail. The only resemblence I see is between Zebra and Fruit Stripe Gum. But it's nice to ponder the evolution between people and animals. I think it's Darwin.
Okay well, this is totally fitting of a poem for the contest. You met the syllable count requirements. Also you are creative and inquisitive. Excellent work.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN A FAN OF THIS TYPE POETRY.. FOR SOME REASON IT LEAVES ME A BIT PERPLEXED... SO MAYBE MY RATING IS MORE DO TO MY LIKES AND DISLIKES THAN TO THE SUBSTANCE OF THE PROSE..

Nice little 5--7--5 poem you have here with correct syllables in your lines. I thought this short piece was insightful and humorous and light. It makes sense in a way- what am oddly amusing thought!:-)
