You have captured how truly horrific this is for a child or anyone who experiences it. My heart breaks for the little girl in this story and the millions who endure abuse. It is clear to see the way Satan works to try and turn us from God and to not trust in Him.

Kathie is an amazing example of the grace of God. Please continue to pray for her as she has many difficulties still. Blessings, Dennis

Vengeance is God's and He doesn't smile kindly on this kind of action. These people have to be demon possessed. This was one thing I didn't have to worry about. He never bonded with Dean or Chelsey. Melvin he bonded with some.God loves you

Thanks for reading part one. There's a good deal more to this story. I put it in short segments because FS reviewers are more likely to read shorter stories. Blessings, ennis

I "ll be praying for you, my friend. This is such a delicate subject for a christian to write about and keep the focus right, but you are doing a good job. Her dad must have been heavily into pornography to do such a thing to his own daughter. It makes ones stomach turn, but we know it is happening out there, and I applaud your effort of comfort to the many hurting.
Bless you, Anita

Your prayers are gratefully accepted. I'll give you a clue as to what's coming (hope you read Part two of Nobody's Child.)

Here's the clue: Where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.

Please pray that God will use this true story to open the hearts of many so that the King in all His beauty might enter in. God bless, and thank you, dear sister in Christ, Dennis

This is indeed a "horrific true tale," as you state in your author's notes.
And you tell it in a way, Dennis, that makes us really feel for this little
girl. I think we all need to be reminded from time to time that there
are individuals out there who are this abusive. Thank you for sharing
this.
Connie

Thank you for caring, Connie. This is not a "plug" but the second in this series was put on FS today. Believe it or not, a great thing is in store for the little girl that changes her life for the good. That's in part three to come. God bless, Dennis

"That's when the fondling by her father began and quickly became a nightly ritual"
Oh boy, so sad! :-(
"She was two and a half years old when these attacks began"
So sick and despicable of her father. :-/
"Mary was floating on a cloud when she came home. That night, her father took her into the cellar of their home and raped her for the first time."
Geez! Talking about going from cloud nine to ground zero. So, so sad! :-p
A sensitive, uncomfortable tale--but well penned.

Thanks, Dis. There's a whole lot more to this story to come. I only hope I can tell it as it deserves to be told and to honor the brave woman who triumphed over this horrendous situation. Dennis

Hi Deniz,

This is a horrific tale of abuse and the fact that it is true makes it even more so. I can't even begin to understand why a parent would abuse a child in this manner. This story, albeit sad, is well composed and compelling. You have a gift as a teller of tales and I will become your fan so I won't miss part two. Well done...blessings, chey

A very strong post. Things like this are tough to read, but at some level, we all know this goes on. I didn't see any areas that merit a revisit. Warm regards, Bill

so sad, so real - I wanted to jump into the story and make it okay - stop dad from hurting baby. Your writing is inviting and personal. The contrast in the calm recitation of this horrible incident is effective

You have told this sad tale with sensitivity and a realism that is gripping.

Her rape being on the day of her first communion, makes it especially moving.
Her father took her innocence and her hope for God's mercy in one cruel, selfish act.

Knowing that there is an uplifting ending enables me to read this difficult story.

Hugs, d

Wow. This story is really powerful. You bring a voice to those that are victims of abuse of this horrible kind. May this horrifyingly true piece of work help shed light on the victims of these abuses.
