If Fall Should Ever Disappear

I love the poem. I think we would have to make up an autumn if it disappeared. The colors are just too great to live without. Plus autumn gently leads us into the cold winter season. Great work.

Hi Brooke:)
This poem about the multi-splendored colors of autumn brings out memories of what I miss each year by living in Houston. Marilyn and I often joke about Houston', our one day of spring and fall each year, If we want to enjoy those special seasons while we live her, we have to use our imagination.
Thanks for the memory. Your words are beautiful as always.
Love and Irish Hugs,
Roger

Comment from Annarhi
This poem has fantastic imagery that portrays Autumn wonderfully. The links to other subjects relevant to this orange season really made the poem's narrative interesting. Every stanza was amazing and easy to read; the only lines I found a little difficult to understand was the link between "if I should ever learn life's changed", "and brilliant fall has never been." Overall I greatly enjoyed it so thank you for a wonderful read!

Your poem, makes me shudder to think that such
could come to pass and the Glories of Fall vanish forever.
It is such a sobering thought- but cheer up! Brooke- it
may not happen in our time! Wonderful poem!

In my perfect world we'd have spring, then fall, then back to spring. I can see that you love the fall, and I loved this poem. You're so talented. Well done

Love that time of year. It's going into summer over here of course but your poem paints a lovely picture of autumn, just as I imagine it to be.

Very nice piece. I love all the imagery (flocks of geese flying cross an October sky) and comparison/simile ( pumpkin was like a harvest moon). Good rhythm and rhyme, it flows well. The colors you used were very vivid and easily entwined in our mind and associated with fall. Liked it very much!

Autumn seems so drastically far away from me now. I think in turns of winter for quite a while now. Perhaps you live where autumn is lengthy and keeps its burnished colored leaves longer than most.
Well done, Brooke.
