A very good poem for children and just in time for Christmas. A good lesson within this write, a picture to match and excellent rhyme and flow.It's important to tell them Christmas is Jesus Birthday but the gifts are to celebrate the gifts Baby Jesus got from the Three Kings .There is a legend which tells of a man in Germany , I think [a long, long time ago]who was like Santa Claus giving gifts to children.

Thank you for this lovely review, amarherig, I am so pleased you enjoyed it. There was a legend as you say, about a man in Germany, but the story goes back even further, to 300 years before Christ. He was born Nickolas, and later became, St Nicholas. When his wealthy parents died he inherited all their wealth, being a man of God, he did as his scriptures told him and gave away his vast wealth, looking after children, the sick and the poor. He was born in Greece, which now is the top part of Turkey. He became the Saint who cared for the children and the Saint to travelers, looking after them on their journeys. It is quite an interesting story, but one that does change depending on where you look him up. LOL, that was a long, 'thank you!!' I am pleased you enjoyed it! Sandra xsx

Putting them together would feel right to them, so it is easy to slip a little lesson into the story without them realising it.
