Hello Treiscel. Very cool photo. I enjoy how you instill very human characteristics in the trees. I liked how you started the poem. The part where you begin, "They often wonder at the worth of cutting thier fellow trees...It would feel as if perhaps, the trees aren't wondering rather they're heartsunk at thier brethren...
...We seem to be on the same page here. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind taking a look at a piece I entered in a contest called, "Forest of Shadows." I genuinely believe you're going to appreciate the degree of characterization I place in the trees that were trying to save the humans.
the story is called, Jin Chronicles. It would mean a lot to me if you could review it. Thank you in advance Treischel and again with you, nice work as usual. Cheers!

This is an interesting and thought-provoking poem. The photo perfectly fits the first 2 lines. I've never heard of Animated Stills. Your description of the trees whistling, watching and smirking is very apt. Creation does feel the effects of the constant destruction caused by humanity.

I love the background colour to this nice poem.

I usually turn a scant eye toward anything that mentions "the ancient ones"( I'm a UFO enthusiast) but in this case nothing could have said it better or more correctly. Have you shared any more of your "Animated Stills?" I'd love to see them.

Beautiful picture and equally complimenting flow of lines. My first brush with animated stills. A different perspective from an inanimate objects point of view..:)
