This poem tells the story of how the L-rd controls the winds and the seas. He is in all things. I imagine your poem may have met with some resistance. But you have spoken truth, the L-rd told us to watch and know the times and seasons and we will have blessing and cursing according to our behavior as a whole. We pray for those who suffer loss and extend a helping hand where we can. May we repent as a people and bring about G-d's blessings on our land. Your poem is well balanced in sharing truth and concern. ~Yona

Ho, Ho, Ho, We are in high summer here - I live on the coast and it is sub-tropical. Have a good day. Blessings, Kay.

I kind of had a feeling I would get the season wrong! LOL. :) Blessings back at you!

A wonderfully written poem. Powerfully descriptive of Sandy's wrath and destruction, switching gears successfully from the storm to God's ability to change the weather and the final timing of his coming.

Thanks so much for reading, dreadful storm. We were touched by America's plight. I just had to write about it. Happy Christmas from Australia.

Excellent, and so true. We face a God who is gracious to warn us of the impending danger that lies on the horizon. Pray all will take heed and change their ways to conform to His teachings.

I love the poem. I love the author notes. Sandy was something else. Our hearts go out to all who suffered. But our Nation is great and we will rebuild again. Great work.

All creation is groaning. You have penned a powerful piece here describing natural upheaval while sounding the trumpet for a spiritual storm approaching. I can attest to all you write. I live near New Orleans and have survived my share of storms. Congratulations on having this selected as a POM entry.

Atta' girl, Kace. You said it all in your poem. It is too easy for man to forget he is not in control; there is a power greater that him; that one is God. May those who have not find Him, then let Him care for them too.
Blessings and peace, CH

There is a ring of warning in this soul-awakening poem; the disaster is a cruel blow to so many. The world is in need of prayer. The poem reminds us to hang onto our faith which is difficult to do when shaken by diversity - yet faith helps us survive and the faithful will be given grace to move forward. Excellent poem.

And interesting poem and a fine tribute to God and to the people of New York. We do sympathise with them but we acknowledge His might--- we are just specks in the universe. Giddy

Sandy was a terrible hurricane to experience. The devastion it left behind is enormous. My state NJ was badly affected. Most people think it is warning . We all should pray especially those who were left behind untouched. We have to praise HIm for He is in control.Well written with a good message.
