Trees are beautiful! I love to walk through the woods where there are many oaks here. You did a great job with this 5-7-5 poem. Oak, in particular, is a very hard wood which you describe as strong. They also grow for many years if people like us don't cut them down! Good luck in the contest!

An oak is always associated with strength. Your five-seven-five is the right count, but I would've preferred if it was me writing this I wouldn't have used so many and's. Still, a good write. Les

Excellent use of the 5-7-5 form. I do feel that oak trees are a testament of time, they seem to be around forever. Your capture the image of the oak tree in your words.
