Sorry, out of 6's but this deserves at least a 10! This is amazing! It touches me in such a way. This is how I felt about my loving man who just recently passed. Sometimes a love is SO strong and wonderful that you keep writing and writing hoping to be able to impart some of the beauty that your heart feels from it. That's what this feels like to me. Trying desperately to make someone understand how amazing you feel about this person. Yet, no words seem enough, and yet you keep trying because you must make them feel it. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I felt so much love and beauty in this poem.

I think this deserves a "Six Star" rating, which appears to be unavailable at this time - the poem's beauty surpasses a casual read - lyrical in its emotional flow - it describes love and its passion expressively in the splendor of the written word. I will read it again and again...

Now I am not a poetry fan and this was on the longer side, but it flowed quite well and the imagery was beautiful and really seems to capture the love between these two lovers.
Nicely done.

Not sure where to begin with this one... It's all so good. Lemme see...
There lie with me for hours and hold me long
within our bed of flowers, each divine,
that I may listen to your heart's sweet song
and feel your body's softness close to mine.
AND
I shall lie here with you, my eyes closed tight
upon my breast your hands are laid so soft,
as if you fear to touch me on this night
I feel a surge of passion yet unscoffed.
The very breath of you brings me alive.
To hear the night, in whisper, say its name
excites me so I can't control my drive
to hurry you and then to lose my shame.
I see as if the darkness had no eyes,
my world is made of all your endless sighs.
These are words I would say to my beloved hubby, if he could understand them (haha... I'm always having to explain my poems to him).... just really wonderful wonderful imagery.... I am really there with him as I coast along with you on your word wave. It is truly lovely and brought tears to my eyes because your words describe exactly the way my husband and I feel about each other.... that completeness thing.
OF COURSE you won the contest. OMG!!!! Thank you for sharing. I'm gonna read it to my hubby... and explain it later. ;-) Suz.

"Where none can come without our loving grace
beside clear waters on the mountain's crest
I watch you dance in garlands and in lace
and trace my hands about your silken breast."
A romance novel in a poem form. Now I know why it's the poem of the month. it's unfathomably remarkable. romance is a raunchy knight. Thank you so much with such quality of creativity.

You must publish this, people need to read it, to devour it to taste it on their lips, to feel it in their hearts, its meant to be read by lovers on a beautiful day of storms and sun and birds and violins playing in the celestial sky, I can not say enough, you are a poem.
