Well, this was certainly an entertaining piece of poetry. I loved the narrative approach. In fact, I could see this as a picture book, it's so good. Your rhyming was delightful, and it definitely added to the flavor of the piece.
Very nice job.

This is excellent, but I think you need to look at the second to the last line in the last stanza. I don't think that is what you meant to say. I loved this story told Beverly Hillbillies style. It was adorable, and the rhyming and flow were great. Fix that line

Thanks Val for helping me see my error. It's amazing to me
how many times I can proof read something and still miss "it."
Glad you liked my little tale.

HI! justjo66. A great smiley tale of a really determined girl name of Lilly Pearl out to get herMan whatever the trouble it took. The twist in the tail when it turns out to be a problem of a bad memory on Burfords part, makes for a happy ending. Well done, you made my day. wiljacro.

Glad to have given you a smile today. I wrote this all because of the clip art and on the way home yesterday passed a
truck with Buford's something on the side. I liked the name. :o)

Thanks Kat. I wrote this just for fun. My husband has a
distant cousin named Lilly Pearl and her husband is RB. :o)
