Well, I didn't see that coming, Gretchen. You did a great job
leading up to the gunshot. I could feel the pain Donnie experienced.
What a sad ending to your story. However, everything fell into place,
and it all made sense. The bank was a no-feeling company out for
themselves regardless of loyal customers in dire need. I wasn't
a member of FS when this was posted originally.

This is brilliant Gretchen, you sure can write, you have that universal perception, necessary. There was a years long drought here in Australia, and that familiar Los of faith caused many suicides among those occupations that have to genuinely live by faith. Well done, blessings Roy

It's a shame, though, farms are lost every day. People pack up and go get a factory job. It's happened a million times.

Sadly, this is spot on. Everyone, especially banks, want an unfair advantage to play these days and your character and past performances mean little to nothing. Plus, credit card interest rates should be considered illegal loan sharking. Great story! Wish I had a six.

Unfortunately, the small town Bank is getting harder and harder to find. We were turned down for a 3000 dollar loan with a bank we've had our accounts with for 20 years. Depositing money we were their best friend. Asking for a loan, we were strangers. I took some liberties with my own experience. Thank you for reading and reviewing.
