I have never heard the pope speak, but I guess I could see how he would invite the world to be a nicer place. I enjoyed reading your poem, you may want to take your name out, it is a blind contest and no one should know who wrote the poetry!

Pope, rope, hope. I once had a pope, soap on a rope. The pope is a joke. A charlatan in a goofy hat who's more concerned with protecting buggering priests than cutting war's rope. I wouldn't let that clown tell me what color tie to wear, much less anything else. There shouldn't be a pope. Try thinking for yourself for a change, you might like it.

Very compelling message for world peace. The number of syllables per line vs. number of words may exceed the 5-7-5 requirement. I could be wrong, new to fan story.
