I've always enjoyed the summer, but I know some people who may be affected by the heat in the ways your describe here. I think I will always remember the ways I approached each season with my children and the activities we shared together. That way I can recall all of the fun each season was rather than all of the discomfort I'm going to have.
You have warned us well in your poem!

Life's reality so beautifully depicted.

Your comparsion of old person and a child and their similarity in the essence of life is touching and so true.

Great rhyming words and flow.

I like your summer and winter thoughts here and the relationship with the effects both summer and winter usually have on the aged. Also your infusion of childhood reminiscence is a good one.

This is a truly wonderful poem, very touching and enlightening for the younger readers. You've a bit of overuse of the comma - let me tell you, I'm not the best bet for punctuation (that would be rama devi or adewpearl) but I can spot a few for you - after the following words, no comma is needed: 1) bounty 2) just how little 3) out for days 4) them special Nicely done!

Maybe I should have marked this as a freestyle poem, but I really didn't intend it to ryhme, just for the words to have simalarity enough to keep up the flow. I thank you for the compliments and this review. Mike

I love winter, as I even walk out barefoot in the snow; but with this theme, I know many people have trouble with it as well. At least in Maryland, you can enjoy one season or another. I thank you for the compliments and review. Mike

LOL, this year it has been crazy in Baltimore, Maryland. It has either been hot, humid and dry; or we get hit with freak storms and crazy rain. Makes it hard to plan anything.

I enjoyed this review and thank you for it very much. Mike

I know older people who hate children as it rubs them the wrong way, but to me, they serve as a constant reminder to mind you heart. We are blest with a fairly active neighborhood and I enjoy the children mucking about. Still, I don't tell them the crazy things I did to keep them out of trouble.

I thank you for your compliments and this review. I enjoyed it very much. Mike
