The funniest, most lyrical murder mystery, I've ever read! The ending was a hoot! Nice job on the rhyming, using a wide variety of words.

Quirky, funny opening.

Ok, weird, but still funny.

Did you grow up on a farm? I'm curious as to what inspired you.

Good job and good luck.

Yes, I did grow up on a farm so I know a little about cows (and effluent ponds, although we didn't HAVE to have them in those days)
Where does it come from? Out of my warped imagination and sense of humour,I guess)
Not the first weird piece I have posted here...

Cute and funny in a black humour sort of way. Love the description and how the cows gossip amongst themselves about the new hunky farmer.

Thank you, Fluffy - I had an image of the cows as a gossipy group of young twenty-somethings...

You wrote a really nice limerick story about jealous cows and the need for warms hands. I liked the way your poem flowed and the rhymes were perfection as I think on my reflection of your masterful cadence as well.

excellent abcb rhyme and smooth flow
I'm laughing out loud by the end of the first stanza
wonderful internal rhyme in each third line
excellent alliteration in phrases like soft as silk and massaged their mammary
Love the sensuality in the milking experience LOL
A love triangle with a farmer and two heifers - murder and revenge - This is wonderfully clever and entertaining, Steve - a joy to read for those who love quirkiness, gallows humor and a touch of bestiality LOL :-) Brooke

Thanks, Brooke. I don't really know where this stuff comes from. Maybe it's me who should be on the couch...

OMG! HAHAHA! Such a cute tale of love, hate and jealousy! I could see the cows waiting for Zach to come to them. I could smell the waste (I do live very close to a feed lot), and I could picture Jessie kicking him into the puddle. Then, of course, the new guy! LOL HA HA HA!!

This is an absolutely wonderful story in a poem (of course I'm partial to farms). Every piece of this was right on point. Of course, being a Psych nurse i got the biggest laugh from "For you can't fit a cow on a couch."

I've just got to give this 6 stars. Very clever, very funny story. Outrageously imaginative. Good flow, good rhythm, and just the crazy type of humor that I find tremendously entertaining. Fun read!

I think this is genius.
How in the world did you come up with this bawdy, bovine balderdash.
I hope you received more than this six stars.
Good rhyming.
The length almost makes it a mini series and of course the topic is marvelous. A good read and a wonderful chuckle.

This is quite an interesting poem about jealous cows and the poor farmer dying in a pile of poop. The poem rhymes and is very funny, odd, but funny.
