I got died. That was a special phrase Do you mean something else? I thought your free verse worked for you in delivering your message. Since it is free verse you can say I died in the face of Ambition.

I appreciate the imagery that it brings forth. The feeling of running to paradise that ended up being a mirage. It does however seem rushed due to grammatical errors and sentence structure. Take time on that part and you'll be great.
