Angelheart's ephemeral image establishes the mood well for this piece. Your use of dialog and your characters are quite believable. I liked the break in time and the levity at the end as well. -Joan

I enjoyed this story about Quintin and his spiritually assisted swim. The like the first person POV and present tense combination. We would all love a guardian angel like Grandpa T.

Excellent writing!

tiny SPAG:
"Hey, Aggie, you realize this changes nothing." Quintin says in reply. "You're still a know-it-all." << comma after '...changes nothing," Quintin...'

I see that we are both taking Stacia's class. I love her! She does a great job with her classes. I think you'll like her.

Very nice read. I liked how you tied the blue ball in at the end. The dialogue flows especially well in the 2nd half of the piece. The beginning could use a little bit of work with grammar and word placement, but other than that it was very good.

Hullo Writingfundimension ....

I enjoyed reading this story of the way your deceased Grandfather made his presence known to your brother who is a competitive swimmer. I find myself wondering if this only happens in the swimming pool or does it occur at other times as well?
Thank you for sharing this with us.
Love from ... Nanette Mary.

Thank you very much, Nanette Mary. My story is a fictional piece, though I have had some paranormal experiences, just not this particular variety. Orbs and halos are pretty common phenomenon in the supernatural field.

Again, thanks so much for taking time to read and support my writing.

    Warm regards, Bev

Hello to you Writingfundimension
You say this is fiction, just let me say this about your supernatural spiritual story. You had me believing it
It must be because your writing is so good.

This is a story that is full of intrigue, then the anticipation builds. What is to follow ? Then a dramatic win at the competition, and this is followed by a surprise ending. Very well done.

This was an interesting and compelling story. I am a believer in ghosts so I immediately sided with Quint but understood Aggie's point of view. Great job I enjoyed this piece a lot.

This is a well written chapter. It has good storyline developments. It also reflects your good imagination.

How nice it would be if things like this occurred. JW

Wow that was some story. There are many who believe that the spirits of the departed are with them or that they have visited before passing.

This was a totally believable story which was well told and held me spell bound
