This is a terrific monotetra poem. I am enjoying reading all the entries to this contest. I have not seen this form before. I love your hero poem. Where's superman or batman?

I like the monotetra! I am going to study it some so I will bookcase all of them to study later. This one is cute. I like King Arthur and knights and English Tea! Thank you for a fun poem. Honeycomb Good Luck

Hi - great poem for kids (and us adults of course!). I loved the rhyme, the content and the ending. This has now inpired me to write something similar (I wrote one about teddy bears - but its a bit long). Keep up the good work. KC

this was such fun - the way you captured kids' scattered play (which all makes sense at the time of course) - and seeing how suddenly the inspirations can change or cease, to pay attention to yummy everyday things! Fun.

Thank you - this didn't quite turn out how I wanted it to, but you get the idea...

Hi Steve,
Your Monotetra is written in great rhyme and meter, as I knew you would, and the poem is very entertaining and clever. Interesting how you combined different stories into one poem in which a young boy would dream of being the hero. Good luck to you in the contest!
all my best, warren

Thanks, Warren - I knew I would get well beaten in this - the idea was sound but the execution just didn't pan out how I wanted...

A very fine children's poem. You have adhered to the Childrens' Monotetra writing prompt guidelines and produced a worthy entry. Good Luck :) Tina

Nicely written. I'm getting to recognize you from the repeating lines at the end of each stanza, which you do quite effectively. Nice artwork and imagery. The words flowed well and it had nice rhythm. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks, Jane - I'm glad you enjoyed this. This time the repeating lines were demanded by the Monotetra form.

I like this immensely! What a merry cadence you've put into it. Sally Carter just posted one with the same repetitive final line to each stanza. Very inventive of each of you.

Thank you - I thought Sally's was superb. The repeating line was part of the required Monotetra form. Adewpearl and Warren Rogers also posted super entries.
