"The puppeteer is led into performance,
Slaphappy puppet, pull and stretch,
Laughter rises, imitation Le Cirque,
But do tell of the excessive stimulation,
Stain reflection and agony, mixed media,
Show sorrow for thy sins!"
Pure awesomeness! What a wonderfully crafted read you've got here, sunnilicious! It was a pleasure to read.

The fine line between pleasure and pain. Instruments of freakish pleasure. The 3d ideas is what makes me think, how the interpretation runs rampant from all the depth and reflections.

Very darkly interesting. I see the recognition has already been bestowed so my humble thoughts need not take up any more space than is necessary to receive the $$$ credit for reviewing. Ha ha. Over my head, I must say.

Nice job on this free verse. Descriptive style. I did not expect to pick up S and M imagery with the title Puppateer. Not a topic of interest to me, to each their own I suppose.
Good job, it was very good writing.

This is an awesome and thought provoking poem that I saw no reason to have it in the adult's only section, other than the fact that I do know we a at least 2 thirteen-year-olds on the site, but still a great poem with a good message for teens and young adults. Great Job

This is definitely a good one of S/M. I was just wondering what the 'safe' word would be or if there is one at all. I'm not a fan of this due to it's excessive stimulation and wandering past boundaries but you've displayed it well.

Safe sex is stimulation with no chance for intercourse or entry. Thank you for the review :)

Exquisitely beautiful artwork you chose there, sunni.
A risque, but interesting theme.
Interesting metaphoric imagery.
Good diction throughout.

It's not dictiton. I actually enjoy art. Expressionism is my favorite. My preferred artists are Dali, Picasso, Matisse, Klimt and VanGogh. Once in a while, I do or read freak stuff too.
Thank you for the review.

LOL Diction means the choice and use of words in poetry, prose or drama. So, I meant good choice and use of words in your post. LOL :)

I read quickly. Thought it was dictation. My apologies. Thank you again for the review.

Had to read this twice to get the full impact. It is an innovative write, suggestive without being offensive.
Full of broad hints and thought provoking images.
Look forward to seeing more of your work

T his is an interesting write about alternative sexual lifestyles. it didn't really seem graphic to me. TV is more graphic than that. Well penned although not my usual subject matter! Debbie

Un uncompromised look at submission and manipulation.
What an eerie taste you left behind, not a flagrant disregard for contemplation, but an indigestable question. What happened here?
There is no focus on victim or handler, no explanation as to who was used and who abused and clearly no mutual consent.
Will give this another thought.
