Dear Barbara,
I thought you did a great describing Anna's temporary memory loss and aprehension. She somehow instinctively knows to go to her apartment to get at the bottom of her fear. Done with much skill and realistic dialog. Great job--Ted

Good as always - shows how the mind has all sorts of tricks, some of which, like this, are used as a kind of protective shield. I'm glad you carried the story on past what would have been one obvious end point.

I'm wondering if you have written yourself into a kind of corner - there can really be no happy ending here. You have avoided the obvious one - bad guys go to jail, heroine and hero walk into the sunset (with baby in tow) - but in reality there is no recovery from this kind of trauma.

Oh oh, wondered what she was going to remember when she left for the apartment. It appears it is all going to come flooding back to her. Maybe it is for the best to be able to put it behind her.
